⚙ How the processing works
ResizeMitchell-Netravali bicubic resampling — same as professional print software.
GreyscaleRec.709 luminance (broadcast TV standard) — weights colours correctly for human perception.
TonalContrast, brightness, gamma applied in the correct scientific order.
DitheringConverts greyscale to pure black & white using error-diffusion or ordered patterns.
DPIExported PNG has DPI metadata embedded so your laser software knows the exact physical size.
⏱ Processing time
Most images process in 5–15 seconds. Large images at high DPI or with Floyd-Steinberg/Jarvis/Stucki dithering can take up to 3 minutes on mobile.
💡 Tips
Your settings are automatically saved and restored next time you open the app.
The A/B button in the preview lets you compare original vs processed by dragging the divider.
